Inline and Inline-block

By default, the display property is set to block. In block display, blocks will take up the full line and can not have anything to their right or left. Inline display allows items to be placed side by side, however they will default to taking up as little space as possible, so it is pretty much recommended to reserve this display style for short term workarounds or block-level elements. Inline-block combines the properties of block and inline. It allows elements to be placed side by side and have their size changed.
